Four types of commitment
Since January 2005, LifeLine Plus LLC has supplied licensed, experienced nurses to healthcare facilities across the State of Louisiana. Choose the commitment that fits the need; a request can cover one shift or an extended assignment.
Our office is in Shreveport, and we place nurses with hospitals, nursing homes, long-term care facilities, and clinics in Shreveport and Bossier City and anywhere in Louisiana — including Monroe, Alexandria, Natchitoches, Lafayette, Lake Charles, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans.
Short-term
Coverage measured in days or weeks: leave, training, a seasonal rise in census, or a special project.
Long-term
Extended coverage for an open position while you recruit, or steady support for a unit with an ongoing need.
Contractual
Defined assignments with agreed terms: start and end dates, schedule, and expectations set out before the first shift.

Experience requirement
Employment with LifeLine Plus requires at least one to two years of major medical experience.

Some of the hospitals we work with require up to three days of orientation before a nurse's first shift there. Tell us about your facility's requirement when you call.
What every applicant provides
The employment application asks each nurse for:
- Louisiana nursing license status, and any other states where they are licensed
- Years of nursing experience and areas of experience
- Education history
- Three professional references (two are required)
- Previous employment, up to three employers, and whether we may contact each supervisor
